I still need to get most of my test equipment moved over to the new office workbench set-up, but that hasn't stopped me from putting it to use. Its (larger) size allows me to more space to work on beasts like this Joule-Electra VZN-220 monoblock. Pulled the front end power supply out of the amp to re-cap it and fix a few other little odds and ends while the amp is here. Just buttoning the amp up this afternoon and playing it for several hours to make sure all is happy before going back to its home.
This Wavelength Audio Cosecant USB DAC is about 8 years old and in excellent condition. It has the HS2 Quotient upgrade (which allows it to accept/convert audio data up to 24 bits 196Khz). It uses a 6EM7 (ECC86) dual triode tube in its output, and is a clean and musical sounding piece. If I recall right, this USB DAC retailed for $4,000 when new. Yours for $995 (plus shipping and/or sales tax IF applicable). Complete with factory box.
Feel free to call, message, or e-mail with any questions or your request to purchase.
Just in is this one owner, 9 year old Ars Ars - Sonum Filarmonia SXJ Integrated amplifier that is in excellent condition. With just about the recommended 150 hours of play on it, I can say the new Ars - Sonum Universum Series Filarmonia XP4 is now fully broken in and sounding glorious. The XP4 features specially designed output transformers (designed and hand wound in house by Ars-Sonum in Madrid Spain) to work with lower impedance speakers. Right now the amp is helping break in our new demo Revival Audio Atalante 3 bookshelf speakers which just arrived, but earlier this week the (30W/CH Class A) XP4 was literally shaking walls pretty darn well driving/controlling the Revival Audio Atalante 4 full range tower speakers (4 ohms, 89dB efficiency) in our listening room. Call, message, or e-mail today to arrange to demo the Filarmonia XP4 ($4,950 USA introductory offer price) in your home with your favorite (4 ohm) speakers! See More
Our new demo pair of Revival Audio Atalante 3 speakers ($2,695/pr) are breaking-in with a little help from the Ars - Sonum Filarmonia Universum XP4 integrated tube amp ($4,950 USA intro price). One from France and the other from Spain playing in harmony, here in the USA.
I'll also mention the matching Revival Audio Stand 3 speaker stands ($495) are well built and look great. Added bonus is that the speakers bolt to the stands to ensure a rigid mount for a more focused and accurate soundstage experience.
Our demo pair of these just showed up here a this morning! Just need put together the stands and we will have them playing this afternoon, available to demo! Congrats to Revival Audio on the award!
We have reduced the price on these used Acoustic Zen Adagio speakers to $1,750 for the pair! (plus shipping - available for local pickup too!) They are in really great condition and are a great sounding pair of speakers for this price! They are complete with factory boxes/packaging, plinths/spikes (not shown in these pics).
Feel free to call, message, or E-mail with any questions or your request to purchase!
Some more new fresh Cardas Audio trade-ins from the original owner who is upgrading all his cabling to Cardas Clear Beyond. Pricing and description of each item is as follows: - Cardas Clear Rev1 1.5m (about 5ft) speaker cables. These are about 10 years old and in excellent condition expect for a little heat shrink damage near one spade (which I can cover up with some new heat shrink if one wants). Retail new a pair of 1.5m Clear Speaker cables are $4,550, this used pair is yours for only $2,500! - Nest up is a 1.0m (about 3.25 ft) Cardas Clear Beyond power cord. Condition is great and this cord because of its age (around 10 years) is factory terminated with the Furutech IEC and male plug. Retail new one of these cords would run you $1,300, but this used one is yours for only $725 - Last is See More
Just in! - This batch of Cardas Clear (Rev1) Interconnects started off life as a 5.0m pair recently traded in (several year old one owner) pair which we have sent off to Cardas to be re-terminated into four (4) "new/used" with ALL brand new terminations (even the original used ends were removed and replaced!). So, essentially new interconnects with well broken in wire (less the fancy factory Cardas boxes new pairs come in) at a big savings over fresh brand new Cardas cables! Because the original pair was in such excellent condition, I can't see any signs of wear on the cable jacket! These pairs will appear as new and sound great! Lengths, termination type, and prices are as follows: - One Pair 1.0m Cardas Clear RCA $1,600 ($2,500 Retail new) - One Pair 1.5m Cardas Clear RCA $1,950 ($3,120 Retail new) - One Pair 1.0m Cardas Clear XLR $1,600 See More
Replacing factory/OE speaker posts on very good speaker make for greater (speaker cable connection) flexibility and better sound . . . read on for more info: While the OE speaker binding posts on our Revival Audio Atalante 4 demo speakers are perfectly nice/serviceable, they don't take (i.e. fit) American made speakers cables which are often/commonly terminated with 1/4" (6.1mm) spades, like many of our Cardas Audio demo speaker cables. For a number of reasons which I won't get into, I'm (and my inner engineer are) not a fan of using Banana connectors on high quality amplifiers and speakers like the Atalante 4's as a like the security and sound of a good (gas) tight mechanical connection spade connectors can make. Thank goodness Cardas makes some awesome speaker posts . . . it took a bit of drilling and filing to make these Cardas posts fit and I went the extra See More
