We are selling our old demo EXOGAL Comet Plus DAC. Despite the hard to read LCD display on the front, this is a really superb sounding DAC which retailed for $3,500 new in this "plus" version (the plus being the outboard power supply pictured with the DAC). Yours for only $1,250! EXOGAL was founded/run by the original owners/designers of Wadia digital (from back in the 90's). Their talents make this one great sounding DAC using a custom interpolation type technology. Just clean, clear and musical. Very good imaging/staging with great stage dept. This used one owner 2 year old Rega Planar 3 with Rega NEO TTPSU, and Clearaudio Virtuoso V2 Ebony MM Phono Cartridge is now for sale for just $1,750! We sold this table new to its original owner back in May of '24. We also sold the cartridge and mounted/aligned it on this table (with 2mm VTA spacer necessary for this cartridge installed under the Rega tonearm). The table is in excellent condition cosmetically and operationally (the dust-cover has the usual light swirl type marks in it that these dust-covers always get unless you are crazy careful to never put anything on top of them). Note that the gloss Red finish this Planar 3 is in, is no longer available. This is a great used preamplfier for analog lovers who still need some line level functionality all in one box. First, Mr Miyajima from Japan has put a really nice all tube phono stage with THREE inputs. Two inputs are designed to MC (gain) with independent loading for each input and the third input is MM gain with a 47K ohm load. It has EQ for RIAA AND 78 RPM records. The line stage has three gain levels. All tubes in it have been tested to be excellent and the unit noise wise is quite quiet fro a all tube phono preamp. I found the sound to be a bit smooth and very musical with good soundstage presentation. Cosmetically it is in excellent condition with factory box and manual (no remote control). Rega Aria MK3 MM/MC demo phono preamp with warranty $895 plus shipping - Another great demo phono preamp for sale. The Rega Aria is a great mid priced solid state phono preamp. It has a combination of good clarity, resolution, and tone which have made it a favorite of mine as all round got to unit for MM and MC cartridges. The Aria retailed for $1,695 when new and is now discontinued by Rega with no direct replacement (the new Rega AOS is $2,395 and is MC ONLY).
