We have just finished up work on upgrading this excellent condition used pair of (12 year old) VSM-MME's (they inner pair in the pics) to full Merlin Black Magic spec and are giving them a bit of break in to make sure they are working/sounding like they should. These are now available for purchase. Price starts at $3,500 plus shipping (includes updated/current spec Super-BAM, new Merlin Bi-Wire Jumpers and new Standard RC Networks, Factory Z-feet, facotry box/packaging, manual, & alignment tool). Extra cost available options include upgrading the Super-BAM to a Master BAM and upgrading the Standard RC Networks to new Merlin Master RC Networks.

This used one owner Ars Sonum is about 15 years old and started off life as a SE version. In 2016 this amplifier underwent a factory upgrade to SXJ level. This upgrade required shipping the circuit board back to Ars-Sonum in Spain and there the updated are done and tested, then the upgraded circuit board is returned (to Signature Sound) were the board is installed back in the amplifier and then the amp is fully tested to ensure it meets factory specs. The amp is in perfect working order and all tubes have been checked/tested. It has a nice set of blue glass JJ E34L tubes, NOS 6189 driver tubes, and a very nice NOS gold pin Telefunken E88CC. Cosmetic condition is excellent and the amp comes with original factory packaging.
