A basic Sonos set-up requires one Zone Player (ZP90) or a ZoneBridge to connect to your PC/MAC or Ethernet router, another ZonePlayer to connect to your Hi-Fi rig and a Controller (you can have more than one of these) that allows you to interface wirelessly with all the ZonePlayers (up to 32!) in your home. The ZonePlayers set up a secure and independent wireless mesh network (i.e. Sonos will not tie up or use up any existing wireless network in your home) with other ZonePlayers and ZoneBridges located throughout your home. You can stream the same music throughout the whole house or your kids can stream their favorite MP3 files to their own rooms while at the same time you can enjoy full CD resolution quality sound played through the Hi-End rig in your listening room.
