Sonos Bundle 150A basic Sonos set-up requires one Zone Player (ZP90) or a ZoneBridge to connect to your PC/MAC or Ethernet router, another ZonePlayer to connect to your Hi-Fi rig and a Controller (you can have more than one of these) that allows you to interface wirelessly with all the ZonePlayers (up to 32!) in your home. The ZonePlayers set up a secure and independent wireless mesh network (i.e. Sonos will not tie up or use up any existing wireless network in your home) with other ZonePlayers and ZoneBridges located throughout your home. You can stream the same music throughout the whole house or your kids can stream their favorite MP3 files to their own rooms while at the same time you can enjoy full CD resolution quality sound played through the Hi-End rig in your listening room. Sonos has two different ZonePlayers (ZP for short).... the ZP90 ($349 Retail - click to view PDF spec sheet - link opens new window) and the ZP120 ($499 Retail - click to view PDF spec sheet - link opens new window). The ZP120 has all the features of the ZP90 and adds a decent quality 55W/ch digital amplifier in a Images Tab - Zp90 Frontsurprisingly compact chassis. Add your own favorite budget set of Hi-Fi speakers to the ZP120, and ta-daa... a instant  compact HiFi system for the Bedroom, Den, Deck, or garage! To control that ZP89 or ZP120, you will need a wireless Sonos Controller 100 ($399 Retail - click to view PDF literature/spec sheet - link open new window) , a Controller Charging Cradle ($39) help keeps your wireless controller ready to go in a convenient docking station which will will charge any of your Sonos Controller 100 units!
